Via an authentic case study, learn the basics, starting with entering data & formulas, up to pivot tables and charts.

This course provides a basic introduction to Excel via a case study. In the case study, you will analyze the product sales from a business, Cowboy Business Machines. Like other Excel courses, you'll learn the basics: data and number formats, formulas, copy/paste, insert/delete, printing, data filtering, pivot tables and charts.
This course is different from most other Excel courses because it focuses on the use of Excel to answer real business questions like "Who were the top customers for the year?" "What were the top-selling products?" "Did sales increase or decrease?" So you'll also learn about business topics like invoicing and sales.
At the end of the course, there is a lesson on how to write a basic business report to summarize the results from the product sales analysis: what topics to include, and some formatting tricks in Microsoft Word. So this course is not just about Excel: it's about how to analyze business data and communicate the results with clarity.
I provide all of the scripts from the lessons. I provide all of the worksheets, with detailed answers to the practice questions. At the end of the course, there is an additional practice worksheet so that you can master the topics covered in this course. I also provide the full text from the sample business report, so that you can use it as a template in your job.
The course has three hours of video content. Expect to spend about 8 - 12 hours altogether, over four or five days, to complete the course.
The course is recommended by the Oregon Business Education Association.

All about NodeJS
MP4 | Video: 1280x720 | 64 kbps | 44 KHz | Duration: 13 Hours | 1.93 GB
Genre: eLearning | Language: English

Create & Deploy High Performance NodeJS Apps on the Cloud and More !

A brand new section on NodeJS Fundamentals has been added. It features an extensive hands-on look into the inner workings of NodeJS. There are tons of things to learn, all written using ECMAScript 6 & NodeJS 4.x.x
Also added a free eBook - ECMAScript 6 QuickBytes. This exclusive eBook is designed to quickly bring you upto speed with essential ES6 features as being used in this course.
Lots of new stuff, from writing modules, to web servers, streams, cryptography, reading/writing files and lots more...
About this Course
NodeJS is a platform that allows developers to write server side high performance and networked applications. And that too using good old javascript. But wait ! Isn't javascript meant to be used for forms and stuff on web pages ?
Well that was 10 years ago. The world has gone from 'Oops! You've not filled up the form properly !' days to today's modern web apps and social media sites that rely heavily on javascript. Google Apps, Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and LinkedIn, being handful examples of this movement. And to think that this quantum leap would not have been possible without javascript is not an overstatement. Today, when you socialize with your friends on Facebook, or use your Gmail inbox, you're running thousands of lines of code written in javascript, in your browser.
With NodeJS, you can take this knowledge back on the server, where usually you would expect to see the likes of PHP, Ruby, ASP dot NET etc. But that's only a small portion of the reason why NodeJS is so cool. The fact that you can write full blown networked applications (think chat servers, collaborative tools, real-time data visualization apps) with just a few lines of code is more than reason enough to not only look at NodeJS, but deep dive into it !
But I know PHP ? Why should I learn NodeJS ? Well, for starters, learning something new never hurts. But most importantly, learning NodeJS is great because :
Node allows you to write highly scalable networked apps deployed on the cloud !
You're working at a different level of application design per se with Node and that means that you're not writing an app that sits on top of a stack, you design the stack from the server up. And while that may sound daunting, it really is not and you'll see why.
You code in the same language, both on the server and on the front end ! We're all polyglots (we use multiple programming languages and syntax in most of our projects), but managing code in the same language on the back-end and the front-end never hurts and in-fact can be a huge time saver when debugging.
NodeJS is used by the likes of LinkedIn, Yahoo and Microsoft to name a few. Its pretty new and consequently you gain advantage from the exponentially growing community of NodeJS & javascript developers and that's great fun, really !
If you've been coding in javascript, you can leverage your existing knowledge and skills and take it to a whole new level !

Roadmap for running a six-figure web design business while traveling the world from two entrepreneurs .

Running a web design business is an amazing entrepreneurial springboard to other opportunities.
Both of us, Zach Swinehart and Rob Cubbon, started web design businesses and successfully removed ourselves from the day-to-day running of the business and built teams. This has enabled us to scale our revenues to over six-figures each. We both travel while working on our lifestyle businesses.
But it wasn't always easy! We've both had challenges along the way and therefore we will talk about every stage of the web design business: setting up, getting clients, running and, eventually, growing.
Firstly we explain how you can start your business:
how to think of a name and domain name for your business
how to set up a business’s finances
action steps for building or improving your website

Then we give you great ideas about finding clients:
long term strategies like blogging and building online authority as well as networking to get clients
How to incentivize word-of-mouth referrals
We’re also going to give you some quick win ideas so you can get clients now!
Craig’s List
BNI
Cold calling
purchasing leads
and what to say on the sales call
With those clients safely in the bag, we go on to how to successfully run the business:
how to map out and clarify the project scope
how to simplify the dialog with the client to minimize problems
we have sample proposals, contracts and invoices for you to download and instructions on how to proceed through the project and how to ensure you're paid properly and on time
Finally we’ll talk about growing the business:
How you can pivot the web design business to earn more passive income through digital product sales.
And how you can outsource and remove yourself from the business so that you can scale the business and do less of the work yourself so you are free to live the amazing lifestyle that we enjoy.
As you can see, this course gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the exact strategies Zach and Rob have employed to build fantastic lifestyle businesses. So what are you waiting for? Come join us

Raspberry Pi Essentials and Extras
MP4 | Video: 1002x720 | 44 kbps | 44 KHz | Duration: 2 Hours | 249 MB
Genre: eLearning | Language: English

Dig a little deeper into the capabilities of this powerful little credit-card sized computer!

It may have initially been designed as a teaching tool, but since its introduction, the Raspberry Pi has become an integral part of the hobbyist/maker culture around the world. Projects range from soil moisture detectors to dashboard cameras to Commodore 64 emulators. A Pi has even been sent up to the International Space Station!
Learn what makes your Raspberry Pi tick!
But one thing that seems to be missing in the sea of projects and books available is an easy-to-understand introduction to some of the communication protocols that the Pi sometimes uses, and how those protocols work. In addition, there are some basic projects that often get missed when someone picks up a Pi and starts tinkering. I designed this course explicitly to fill some of those gaps in general Pi-knowledge.
Contents of the course:
In this course, you'll learn:
How to install the optional Pi camera board
What the UART protocol is
How to interface with a GPS module using I2C
How to turn your Pi into a fully-functioning web server
Using the Pi as an NFS server
Putting Windows 10 on your Raspberry Pi
If you've been interested in picking up a Raspberry Pi but are unsure where to start, or if you've already got one and would like to 'peek under the hood' and learn about some of the useful protocols it can use, then this course is for you! There are code samples included, as well as all lecture notes. I designed the course for beginners to the Pi, but intermediate Pi aficionados will likely learn something as well from the video lectures and code samples.
When you're done with this course, you'll have a better understanding of just what makes that little Raspberry Pi do what it does so well!

Going for the CCNA Exam? Learn how to solve any Subnetting question in less than 30 seconds and get certified easily!

Subnetting is an absolutely critical component for CCNA success. In this videos, we are first going to review how subnetting works, ensure you master the "30 sec" method and understand the mathematics behind this networking principle. Once this is done, we are going to look at some shortcuts (tips) that can be used in the exam to ensure that we can solve the many subnetting challenges quickly and accurately (30 sec).
Subnetting is an absolutely critical component for CCNA success. The skill must be demonstrated in the CCENT (ICND1) and CCNA (ICND2) exams. Should you take the composite CCNA exam option, you need to be even better and faster at subnetting in order to achieve success.
It is wonderful to see how all of this works 30 sec, but in the lab exam environment, we are VERY pressed for time. We need powerful shortcuts. Here we will walk through my preferred shortcuts against the backdrop of sample exam questions.

Great Material - This course is a great reference and way to refresh your skills for the new Net+ exam! I needed a good refresh before taking the exam and this course is clearly laid out and copiously covers the material for the exam. Great course, well worth the money! -- M.B.
Perfect Course - Not only do you get great lectures that are pretty much PowerPoints with an instructor teaching you the concepts, there are also Demo lectures that show you how each of the concepts works in real life. This is such valuable information to have when taking the test. I feel very confident that this course is the best Network+ course on Udemy. -- D.R. Jr.
A Complete Jumpstart - What has impressed me the most is the depth of the content to this coarse. Each HD video is crystal clear in both the visual and audio, even including quality closed captioning (great for reading along with the lectures). I wasn't interested in the flashcards or the crossword puzzles when I started the program, but I've found them to be very useful in staying engaged in the class when away from home. This is everything you need to get started and have a classroom quality experience from home. Dive in and stay focused! -- P.C.
